Our method

Numi Interior works on bespoke furniture with an approach that combines craftsmanship culture, technical expertise, and advanced production, reducing the gap between what is imagined and what is realized.

The process goes from brief analysis to final installation, maintaining coherence between idea, materials, processing, and space.

Numi Interior was born from thirty years of experience in the creation of custom-made wooden furniture.

From concept to creation

Between an idea and a finished piece of furniture there is a journey of listening, technical development, construction choices, production, control and installation.

Numi Interior accompanies this process with an integrated method, designed to reduce the distance between what is imagined and what is created. We support architects, designers and clients in translating renders, sketches, drawings and concepts into concrete, constructible solutions that are consistent with the space.

Our work begins before production and continues until installation, bringing together vision, technical expertise, materials, machinery, specialized partners and project management.

Technical Office and Digital Development

Technology is a fundamental part of the way we work.

We use integrated software to follow the development of the furniture in a complete way: from three-dimensional design to the definition of the components, from the preparation of the workmanship to the dialogue with the machinery, up to the possibility of generating visualizations and renders useful for understanding layout, structure, and materials.

This approach allows for maintaining continuity between what is designed, what is produced, and what is installed. Information is not lost along the way; instead, it becomes part of a controlled process, where each technical choice is linked to the final quality of the furniture.

For us, digital does not replace experience: it makes it more precise, more readable, and more shared.

Advanced production

In-house production is where manual expertise and advanced technologies work together.

Alongside our knowledge of wood, finishes, and construction details, we use CNC machinery and advanced machining centers that allow us to tackle complex processes with precision, flexibility, and continuity.

However, quality is not just born from the machine. It is born from the way each stage is prepared, checked, assembled, and finished by people. It is in the meeting between technology and an expert hand that the furniture takes shape.

Materials and workmanship

Wood is our starting point, but it are not our only language.

Contemporary custom furniture often requires the integration of different materials: glass, metals, fabrics, leathers, upholstery, technical surfaces, and special components. This is why we work with a selected network of partners and suppliers, built over time on quality, reliability, and constant dialogue.

Our role is to maintain control of the whole. We coordinate materials, processes, and components so that the final result is coherent, precise, and faithful to the initial idea.

Every material choice is evaluated not only for its aesthetic value but also for function, durability, required maintenance, and connection with the space.

Technical research

Every piece of furniture brings with it a different requirement: a detail to be resolved, a system to be integrated, an installation to be made cleaner, a paneling to be securely fixed. For this reason, research is born within the projects, in the dialogue between the technical office, production, and the construction site. Developing custom solutions means transforming every critical issue into an opportunity to improve the way furniture is conceived, built, and assembled. The presence of Safetyfix among our partners strengthens this approach, bringing a culture of applied research, construction detail, and concrete innovation to the company. For us, innovating means finding better answers to real needs, without losing the connection with material, function, and space.

Each piece of furniture brings with it a different technical and aesthetic requirement.
A detail to be resolved, a system to be integrated, an assembly made cleaner, a paneling to be secured safely, a process to be simplified without losing quality. This is why research is not a separate activity from our daily work: it is born within the projects, in the dialogue between the technical office, production, installation, and the construction site.
Developing custom solutions means observing every critical issue as an opportunity to improve the way a piece of furniture is designed, built, and assembled. It is an approach made of tests, verifications, adjustments, and technical solutions that must be precise, reliable, and consistent with the final result.
This attitude is strengthened by the presence of Safetyfix among our partners: a company specialized in the development of patented systems for coupling wood paneling. A technical heritage that contributes to bringing a culture of applied research, constructive detail, and concrete innovation into the company.
For us, innovating means this: finding better answers to real needs, without losing the connection with the material, function, and space.
